From the WEST

Brothers,
I hope everyone's had as enjoyable a time over the holidays
as I've had. Happy New Year to all, and welcome back!
As you
know, the annual reports are due in February and we will prepare for
a 2nd Degree in March. Thus we are presented with
a perfect opportunity for practicing footwork and timing for the
event at our January meeting!
In consideration for the practice and any to follow, it is
mandatory for all participants, especially the officers, to attend.
As a reminder:
This communication is also your opportunity to present any ideas you
may have toward the charitable function direction outlined in the
last
communication. However, please be advised: this is to present these
ideas only. Not to discuss or debate them at length. Not at this
time, at any rate, as our time is short. In fact, in the interests
of saving time (and, let's face it, verbal descriptions being
fleeting to the memory), it might be advisable to outline such in
print for consideration
as well. This may seem a burden, but trust me in this, it can prove
a blessing by enabling one the chance to examine and clarify one's
precision in thought on a topic or idea in order that we (both
author and intended audience) may all appreciate the experience of
one's insight in a more... impartial way. Try it.
Lastly on this topic, if it is agreeable with the Secretary, all of
the ideas presented could be posted on-line for any of us to review
at will, as well. None will be excluded. Thus everyone who
participates will have been heard by all -as completely as, and in
the manner in which, he intended.
See you next Thursday!
Sincerely and
Fraternally Yours,
W. Krulish, S.W.
